Poughkeepsie, NYHealthQuest Medical Practice (HQMP) has selected five prints by Hudson Valley photographer Robert Rodriguez Jr, to be on permanent display at their new Poughkeepsie location at One Pine St Spur. Health Quest is a multi-specialty medical group focused on delivering quality health care to the residents of the Hudson Valley.

Assistant Director Stephen F. Heath says, “We wanted the artwork for our offices to have a local connection as well as be a reflection of the magnificence that surrounds us in this region.  We are very pleased with the remarkable prints supplied to us from Robert Rodriguez Jr Photography. They are a very positive contribution to the environment within our offices.  When someone comments on how beautiful the landscapes are we are proud to say that what they see can be found right down the road.”

After a site consultation, Robert recommended Canvas Museum prints, and the images were all custom produced in Robert’s state of the art studio: “Water Drops” 30×45, “Little Stony Point” 32×84, and “Winter’s Warmth” 24×36. Two additional poster prints 24×36 were printed and framed using digital mats w/ no glass. Installation was performed by Robert personally in order to meet the ribbon-cutting deadline on October 21st, 2009.

“Nature can impart a great emotional influence on how a person feels. These soothing, serene landscapes were selected to alleviate the tension and anxiety that often times is experienced when a patient is sitting in a waiting room”, says Robert. “I am grateful that HealthQuest chose local landscapes to enhance their healthcare environment, and I hope to do more installations in the near future”.

“As the premier health network of the Hudson Valley, Health Quest is committed not only to the health of our patients, but to our community as a whole.” says Heath.

Robert,
This is really wonderful. Here is something I have been looking at which may be interesting to you: http://www.healthcareartconsulting.com/
Along the same lines. I would love to move toward hanging some work somewhere, but still am stuck with not printing my own yet. I just can’t seem to take the leap!
I hope you get lots of good feedback with this effort.

Deb – Nice to hear from you – hope all is well and your health is 100%!

Thanks for the well wishes – working hard as usual, but life is good. Take the leap! You’ll never know until you try, and once you get started showing your work, it gets easier – trust me! Remember the most important thing is believe in yourself, and never let anyone create doubt about what your passion is – it’s usually just others being envious.

Here’s a great post about passion – from a marketing blog: http://www.twistimage.com/blog/archives/loving-what-you-do/

If you need any help, just ask…

Robert
