Thanks as always - I almost missed it that morning - the cold wind chill was winning the battle, but there's something about that first light...

Robert,
I have been meaning to leave you a comment on your "River of Ice" capture. Love the sun through the trees along with your star burst. Really adds to your shot. Also the composition of the ice and light passing through the large "cubes" brings it all together. Another fine image!

No problem Tom - I've updated the post with the camera settings as requested. I will make sure to list the settings in future posts for those who can benefit from it. As a side note, I've been evaluating a Zeiss Distagon 2.8 21mm prime lens for a few weeks now, and think it's one of the best lenses I've used. I've been waiting for the Canon version for over a year and it was finally released last month. Mt photos from the Adirondacks a few weeks ago were also captured with this lens. Thanks as always for the feedback!

Robert,
I would like to ask if you would be agreeable to indicating specific camera details of the photographs you display. For instance, for each shot it would be great to know the make and model of camera used, and specific lens settings like shutter speed, aperture, type of lens etc. Some photography magazines publish this type of information for specific photographs and I find it very useful.
