The dates for the Bannerman Castle photography workshops I wrote about a few weeks ago have been finalized, so as promised, here they are:
- Sat May 9th, 8:30 AM,
- Sat July 18th 8:30 AM
- Sat Oct 18th, 3PM.
The October date starts at 3pm in an effort to provide different lighting opportunities for whoever decides to come out more than once. I will be visiting the island in two weeks and plan to have some photos and video that I’ll post here. Hopefully it will show some of the opportunities that exist in this unique location. The fee is $110 per person and includes transportation to and from the island, and lunch upon return. Please contact me directly to reserve a spot on any of these workshops.
In addition, I will also be leading a free sunset workshop for Scenic Hudson on Tuesday July 7th at Esopus Meadows Preserve. Meant as an introduction to landscape photography, it will be limited to 12 participants by reservation only. I am donating my time in an effort to help support and bring awareness to preservation in the Hudson Valley, and the role Scenic Hudson plays in this effort. If you are interested , please let me know asap.
