FAQ

How do I place an order?

The easiest and fastest way is to place your order using our webstore using the shopping cart. (To do this, click “Fine Art Prints Available. Click Here to Order” under the image you want. Then in the cart choose the size and the medium you would like from the drop down menus.) For custom sizes please email or call.

What if I want a size that is not listed on the website?

We are happy to create custom sizes for you at no additional costs - just contact us with your needs.

How large can your photographs be printed?
Because I use a high resolution digital camera, most images can be printed up to 90" wide, and some can go even larger. It all depends on the specific photograph, and the presentation. For more details, please contact us - there are many options we can offer.

Do you offer discount and wholesale pricing?
Yes, this is based on volume and specific use. We love to work with non-profits and educational institutions!

How soon will my prints arrive?
If the prints are in stock, we usually ship within 24 hours of receiving your order. Otherwise, you prints should arrive within one week. As always, we take great pride in keeping you informed of our progress at every stage of your order.

What exactly are archival prints?
All of our prints (paper and canvas) are archival, which means we use only certified archival papers, inks, coatings, and other framing materials. The inks and papers we use are rated for longetivity and permanence by Wilheim Research to last 90+years without any fading or color change when displayed under proper conditions (no direct UV light for extended periods of time). You can be sure your investment will remain in the same condition you receive it for many generations.

Do you offer sample prints?

We would be happy to send you a small (5x7) sample print of any of our photographs for your evaluation. Please call or email us.

What are the benefits of canvas prints vs paper?

-Canvas gallery wraps are very popular for several reasons:
  • They weigh much less that framed prints
  • They don't exhibit any glare or reflections
  • Prints can be made much larger and still fit your budget
  • Canvas prints provide a frameless presentation which creates a window into the scene
-Framed prints are still a beautiful and appropriate way to display photographs:
  • Traditional look and appeal
  • Our beautiful wood molding selections can add a formal and decorative accent to your home or office
  • Paper prints exhibit slightly more detail and less texture than canvas
  • I still prefer a fine art paper for black and white photographs
Where do you have your prints made?
We do all of our own printing, matting, and framing completely in house in our custom studio. We even teach workshops showing you how to do much of the same yourself!

Do you have your own gallery where I can visit and see prints in person?
We're working on it...stay tuned! In the meantime, visit me at one of our upcoming art shows in 2010, I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have.
