
One-Day Workshop - Saturday June 28th, 2008
Join award-winning landscape photographer Robert Rodriguez Jr in this one day intensive workshop focused on fine art digital printing. Learn how to craft an expressive print, and learn from Robert’s experience exhibiting and selling his prints in galleries and numerous art fairs.
This one day workshop is limited to 6 students, and each will have the opportunity to develop and print their own image. The focus will be on individual learning and helping each student make prints that reflect their photographic and visual aspirations.
This will be held in my new state of the art workshop/studio for a total hands-on learning experience. We’ll be using a combination of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, Epson and Canon professional printers, Innova, Epson, and Hahnemuhle fine art papers, and Mac computers. Breakfast and lunch will be served!
This workshop will cover:
- Creating a color managed working environement
- Camera RAW, Photoshop, and Lightroom
- Image correction and advanced adjustments in Photoshop
- Using color profiles
- Soft proofing for better results
- Paper choices and proper selection
- Processing for Print
- Basics of papers and fine art printing
- Mounting and matting exhibition quality prints
