I’m happy to announce that I will be hosting another Creative Critique—Live session this coming…
I finally wrapped up my 2007 show schedule in downtown Rutland Vermont this weekend, and both the weather and attendance couldn’t have been better. I sold quite a few pieces, and met lots of generous people who motivated and inspired me to continue to share my love for nature and photography.
The big news for the coming weeks is that on November 17th, I will be giving a free digital photography seminar in my hometown of Beacon, NY. Titled “The Art and Craft of Landscape Photography“, it is an introduction to the philosophy, methods and techniques that I use to capture and create fine art prints. While I will be discussing the state of digital technology as it pertains to cameras, software, and printers, my emphasis will be on the craft of landscape photography, and the many ideas I’ve discussed here before, such as light, moment, composition, etc. Aimed at the serious amateur photographer, anyone interested in this field is welcome to attend. This is a prelude to a full line of in-depth workshops I’m planning on offering in 2008 that include field as well as classroom sessions. More info to come soon.
Anyone interested in attending to attend the free seminar should email me asap, as it is by reservation only and seating is limited, but still available.
