Hi Robert…
This looks like a great hiking location. Where is this photographed from? I think my kids would love to see this view…

@John – It is one of my favorites, and a classic hike in the Hudson Highlands – I’ve updated the post to include the gps track from my iPhone which I record with MotionX – the trails starts just north of ColdSpring off of Rt 9D.

I don’t believe I’ve commented on your blog before, but I’ve been following it for some time now. I very much appreciate you sharing so much of your photos, experience, and knowledge. While I haven’t yet downloaded one of your wallpapers, I was wondering if you might make them available in a 1920 x 1080 resolution, as that is becoming a more common resolution and aspect ratio (16:9).
Thanks!
Thanks for your feedback Catharus – I really appreciate your support and presence on the blog. Thanks for the suggestion of the 16:9 ratio – I’ve added it to the list – enjoy!

I just wanted to say your wallpapers grace my desktop every month. If not those I use one of your pictures from Facebook. You do amazing work. One of these days I’m going to do a workshop just to learn from someone who loves photography that much and does such terrific work.
Thanks Jen! I really appreciate your feedback and kind words and it makes my day to know that my work has been beneficial for you – thanks for the inspiration, I am grateful!
