Just wanted to post an update and reminder on the remaining photo workshops I’ll be leading in 2012.

Fall in the Hudson Valley

I’ve added a new Hudson Valley photo workshop to the fall schedule, taking place in my favorite location anywhere, the Shawangunk Mountains. Just 90 minutes north of NYC, the Mohonk Preserve and neighboring Minnewaska State Park offer spectacular opportunities for landscape and nature photographers.

While I have done this particular workshop many times in the past, I continue to find new locations and areas to keep the workshop fresh and original for returning students. This time we’ll be visiting Bonticou Crag, a fantastic rock outcrop with great views of the surrounding valley and Catskill mountains. We’ll also be exploring some lesser known areas that are should provide great images.

Acadia Autumn Adventure

The are only two spots left for the Acadia National Park workshop in mid October, so if you have any interest, now’s the time to reserve your place. We’ll photograph classic locations, and new areas I continue to discover each time I visit. We’ll also be exploring night photography and learning the basic principles behind making great images under the stars.

Workshop Bonus:

As a way of providing as much value as I can, every student that attends one of these 2 workshop will also get free access to one of my webinars coming up this winter. Topics will include Lightroom 4, Composition, FIne Art Printing, and HDSLR video.
