Continuing in a new series of free webinars, I’m excited to announce “Composition Workflow: From…
Many thanks to all those who stopped by the Canson Infinity booth during PhotoPlus Expo last week to say hello. It was amazing to see so many people stop in and say they recognized me and/or my work—I was and still am truly humbled.
I really enjoyed answering questions about papers and printing, and usually had to be reminded by the Canson staff to take a break for lunch. What can I say, I can get carried away when it comes to discussing my favorite subjects! The Canson staff are a great group of dedicated professionals, and that really shows in their commitment to making the very best fine art paper. I’m really lucky to able to call many of them my friends– not a word I use lightly. They’re also passionate about helping their customers, and because of that I think you’ll see some big names in photography start to use Canson paper in the very near future.
I think Canson has some experience making fine art papers – what do you think?
They have some great new products coming out in early 2013 which I’ve had the privilege to test, and I think they’ll be very exciting to anyone making their own prints. In addition, two new canvas lines are coming out soon in the US, a consumer grade called Photo Art HD Canvas, and a museum grade archival canvas with exceptional Dmax. I’ll have a review of all the new products as soon as they are released to the general public.
While I didn’t get much time to check out the rest of the expo, I did pick up a new bag from GuraGear, the Bataflae 26L. The best new features are a dedicated tripod holder, and some new cool colors. Stay tuned for my review of this new bag coming soon.
If you have any questions about paper or printing, please let me know!
