I’m finally back from France after 10 days with Canson Infinity helping with product development, presentations to customers, and taking lots of promotional and behind the scenes photos. I’ll share some of those here as soon as I get clearance from them.

I’m giving a new presentation at B&H Photo Video on February 20 titled “Insights Into the Art and Craft of Landscape Photography”. As the title suggests, I plan to cover both the technical and aesthetic/philosophical considerations involved in my personal approach to landscape photography, and hopefully share some basic skills others can use in their own work. Of course this will be an introduction to what is a very profound subject, and for me a life long pursuit. But getting started always seems to be the difficult part for many, so that’s the focus of this talk.

It also happens to be Ansel Adam’s birthday on February 20th, so it’s a special day indeed. Visit the B&H website to register, and hopefully it isn’t closed yet. If it is, you can always watch it here when B&H posts the video to Youtube – I’ll link to that when it’s available.

“A photograph must be a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed.” – Ansel Adams

  1. Sounds great, Robert! Too bad these events aren’t also available as a webinar, for remote viewing and participation. I guess I’m just too accustomed to this format (webinars), as they are common in my field.
