PhotoPlus Expo takes place this week Oct 26th—28th at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC, so if you’re in the area I think it’s worth the visit. It’s the largest photo convention in North America and all of the major manufacturers are showing their latest and greatest products. It’s also a chance to visit with smaller companies as well, including FLM which will be showing some of their products at the B&H booth.

While I’ve enjoyed being a guest artist at the Canson Infinity booth the past six years in a row, I will not be in attendance this year with Canson. I am still a Canson ambassador and strongly believe their papers are still the best in the industry. However, they are under “new management” as they say, and so have decided to staff the booth with employees only.

I am not concerned about the long-term prospects for Canson Infinity, and I can assure you they are as committed as they have ever been to the digital fine art paper market. The 400+ year history of Canson as a paper company is a sign of longevity, and it should continue for a long time into the future.

I will be attending the Expo on Thursday, Oct 26th, and plan to be at the Canson Infinity booth from around 11 am to 12:30 pm If you’re visiting that day as well, stop in and say hello!
