I have spent my entire life developing and following my own creative path. Over the years I have learned how to make creativity the central theme of my life, whether through photography, writing, drawing, or contemplation of nature. Now I happily share principles and insights focused on creativity that I hope will be helpful to you in fulfilling your artistic potential.

Your mentorship begins with a comprehensive discussion, analysis and overview of your skills along with an assessment of your creative and artistic development: where you’ve been, where you are, and most importantly, where you want to be.

Creative Path Mentorship Program - Levels and Details
Six-Month Intensive Mentorship
This plan is for you if you want to pursue meaningful photography at the highest level and/or make it a career.
-Application and Evaluation
Application and online survey to better understand what your needs and expectations are, and also to make sure we can work towards an outcome that provides the greatest benefit to you.
-Initial Portfolio/Image Review via Skype (45min – Recorded)
Review of 8-10 images with a basic critique/feedback and a discussion of strengths and weaknesses. We can then form a basic creative strategy for the 6 months that aligns with your needs and expectations.
-Monthly Assignments and Image Critique
Based on our initial review and discussion, I’ll recommend monthly assignments and provide review and feedback via email and Slack(chat). This will form the bulk of the creative and technical development work and relies on you putting in the time to work on the assignments and review my feedback and suggestions.
-Online Support
During the six months, I will be available for questions and support via Slack. I will respond with additional info in the form of text, images, screenshots. videos, and recommended online resources.
-Monthly Skype sessions (30-45min – Recorded)
I will also be available for a monthly Skype session to discuss your progress, and offer additional creative/technical support.
-Group Q+A Session (Recorded)
You’ll also have access to an additional group session Q+A via a webinar where we will discuss many of the concepts in the mentorship program including composition, field techniques. creative processing in Lightroom, and other related topics.
-Book Recommendations
Based on your specific needs and requests, I will recommend books and other online resources to improve and enhance your creativity and photography.
-One Day Field Workshop
An entire day in the field where I work side by side with you to help further your photographic goals and creative vision. Field work will take place in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Other arrangements including time and location available for discussion. Lodging not included.

Six-Month Basic Mentorship
This plan is for you if you are passionate about meaningful landscape and nature photography, and want to expand and explore your creative energy and potential.
-Application and Evaluation
Shorter application and online survey to better understand what your needs and expectations are, and also to make sure we can work towards an outcome that provides the greatest creative benefit to you.
-Initial Portfolio/Image Review via Zoom (45min – Recorded)
Review of 8-10 images with basic critique/feedback and a discussion of strengths and weaknesses. We can then form a basic creative strategy for the 6 months that helps you move towards your creative goals.
-Six to Nine Custom Tailored Assignments
Based on our initial review and discussion, I’ll recommend six to nine assignments and provide review and feedback via a private forum. This will form the bulk of the creative and technical development work and relies on you putting in the time to work on the assignments and review my feedback and suggestions.
-Group Q+A Session (Recorded)
You will have access to an additional group session Q+A via a webinar where we will discuss many of the concepts in the mentorship program including composition, field techniques. creative processing in Lightroom, and other related topics.
